On May 28, 2024, a Bangladeshi think-tank delegation led by Ambassador Shabbir Ahmad Chowdhury, former Secretary(West) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, visited China Institute of International Studies(CIIS). CIIS Vice President Yu Jiang and relevant CIIS scholars conducted exchanges with the Bangladeshi side on China-Bangladesh relations and the Belt and Road Initiative cooperation.
